The score for the Mission was a thing of beauty too.

One of the few purely instrumental soundtracks I ever bought.

The man was a genius.

He will be sadly missed. Incredible back catalogue - often the pictures he score weren't the best but his music featured in them was outstanding - Exorcist 2, for example

Very, very sad news, what an amazing mind and talent.

Coincidentally we were discussing this scene last night and ended up watching the film. The music in this scene is truly amazing and is what makes it - absolute genius!
