Player Valuation: £40m
Six players have been released from the squad because of Champion's League commitments or injury: Terry, Dawson, Cole, Lampard, Rooney, Walker.

So, I'd expect Capello to revert back to 4-4-2. Perhaps like this?

____________Hart
Johnson Jagielka Lescott Baines
_Milner Wilshere Parker Young
________Bent Carroll

(Green, Foster, Cahill, Barry, Lennon, Downing, Defoe, Crouch)

I'd imagine that Jags and Bainsey are likely to get the full game. Hopefully it will do them both good to get a run out to show what they can do without fearing the hook if they make a mistake.

Personally, I think it would be a good game to resurrect Green's confidence. We know what Hart can do. Because of fitness, I'd start with Crouch ahead of Carroll. That would give the side a natural captain too. I'm astounded by the calls for Wilshere to be given the armband. Give the lad a chance! Parker would be another likely candidate. I'm sure it will do his self-belief no harm to lead his country.

I'd make early switches to give Lennon, Downing and Defoe game time. I'd probably give Carroll about 25 minutes too.

I'm going to this so fingers crossed they'll both start (y)

Baines is the only left back now in the squad, so he'll surely start. Judging by the fact that he came on against Wales, Jags is the next in line for a centreback berth. Whether he gets a full game or whether Capello decides to replace him with either Lescott or Cahill remains to be seen. I expect that they'll both play the majority of the game though. Hopefully they'll manage to crock Young, Downing or Bent in training before Saturday too! ;-)

I do hate international friendlies!

Really hope Jags and Baines don't play bit pretty sure they both will.

Can't they just do some two footed knee high tackles on Villa players in training and get sent home?!

I understand that people don't want our players to get injured, but surely it's a good thing for Everton to be represented at international level?! Why are people not happy for them? They deserve to be playing international football.

Would be nice to see Jags and Baines get a full 90 minutes for England unscathed. Wish I was going now, but for some reason it's sold out! Got a coupla mates going like. Anyway I like Ghana, friendliest people ever and it's always pleasant to watch them dancing, I fear this might be an uneventful England thread.

A contradiction of terms there. Your racist stereotyping of easy going people who do tribal dances disgusts me.

They have a rich culture, you shouldn't look down your English nazi nose at them mate.
