Not one first teamed who would line up for the semi final there. That team though shows the current strength of the squad especially when you consider that Kone Pienaar Browning Dowell Garbutt aren't included in a second string line up.

SKY are covering a game on the Tuesday evening, and presumably they or BT Sport are also covering the derby, so that is why it is the Wed and not even the Tues.

Is anybody really, honestly surprised or genuinely shocked at this scheduling?

Those responsible for setting a local derby in the midweek of an FA Cup semi-final know absolutely jack 5h1t about football, and it could only be compounded by Clattenberg being named as the ref.

We are actually at Wembley and the Cup is tantalisingly close.

With Moyes it was a quarter final at home to Sunderland.

Context is everything.

And the notion of a weakened Everton team had been turned on its head now.

Leave Rom and Lennon out and hit them with Del and Omar.

Or Kev.

Play Besic instead of Barry.

Baines in place of Oviedo.

Stones instead of Funes Mori.
