End of season fixture backlog - 3 away games to be rearranged

He better not rest players, even if it was the final itself only a few days later. When Moyes did it back in 2012 it was for me the unforgivable act of his entire tenure and I have never forgotten it. Turning up at their place waving a white flag to let them give us a spanking, then having to go into work the next day and getting a dog's abuse from that lot who were all smug. No way will I ever accept any manager doing that no matter what the circumstances. If Martinez "gets" Everton like so many say he does then he should be aware of our feelings on this.

So what?

No travel involved. It's another game but the squad can cope.

Annoying thing is it almost definitely means we'll play on the Sunday at Wembley now.

big question now is if we will rest players for the derby, remeber when moyes did taht? went down well... @davek

I was more annoyed because he did it before Sunderland at home, it'd be more acceptable before United in a semi final with a winnable final afterwards for me

Not necessarily - that will be no consideration, and if it is then it'll be saturday 12.45 to give a better chance of people actually watching the final with united in it

Haha how predictable the Derby is rearranged for midweek before the semi. I would say rotate for the derby, keep the top guns safe for Wembley

its the ONLY game you dont want before a cup game, although if we win it moral will be sky high..

if everyones fit we can swap SOME players without a big effect on the team(deulofeu for lennon, besic for barry stones for mori or jags)

i deffo remember you slating moyes for doing exactly that lol

how about resting players for the game before the derby?
That's because we were actually playing the same team in the SF...there was no danger of losing out from playing your best.

This time is way different. Either United or West Ham are going to have a week to prepare for us. And Wembley will get into the legs of players who played 3 days before.

This is an absolute disaster.

Nah mate. It is a massively draining game.

If I were a West Ham or United fan now I'd be punching the air.

fair point, alright..lets play niasse up front..he'll wanna impress and liverpool will know nothing about him

kin ell, they'll be flying in with knee high challenges. There's no way we'll leave that pitch without injuries to a key player/players.

How can they even think of scheduling that so close to the SF?
