i still cant get over last years. The amount of backslapping BIll and co gave each other just showed how much we celebrate just being there.we never win anything, we never get relegated. We’re just there.Jags got an award and said the two highlights of his
Career where the winning pen in a SEMI final and an EQUALISER in the derby, that just summed the whole club up for me. Also Giving an award to Alfie Evans dad was crass in My honest opinion.

He should have said there are no highlights in his career, and he wishes he'd never kicked a ball now because the whole thing has been a let down and he's just sorry for all the blooz he's let down by not being good enough to carry us to trophies like what a proper captain would have done not him Mr Quietasachurch mouse hahaha. not an issue with what he said. An issue that they seem to be the high points of a player who has played at a supposedly big club for more than a decade.

Just seems a bit unnecessary to have a go at players for being proud of what they've done just because they didn't win a trophy. Nobody minds us putting Dave Hickson on a flag even though he spent half his time with us playing in the second division, but now we're an embarrassment for trying to recognise that players can still have played well even though the team hasn't achieved what we'd like.

At least that's a notable achievement for a club, what the heck have we done? We are just there plodding along between 13th on bad year and 6th on a good year.

Im not having a go at the player himself whatsoever. Im having a go at giving awards out to anyone who happens to spend a while at the club. Phil Neville got one, one year didnt he?

Last year although they tried to make it prestigious the season was so bad the ticket sales weren't great and they had to give loads away for free.

Not surprised they've dulled it down as when they would've been planning it the football again being so poor its not going to be very attractive.
