Being played at Wembley is the joke. Should be in the Midlands.

Yeah man. Have the final at villa park. This would make it equal and northerners wouldn't feel victimised by having to travel the extra couple of hours to play at the national stadium in the capital city.

Looking at it another way, because they took a small allocation, it meant Arsenal could get a higher allocation, so 51,000 of them got to see their team at Wembley.

Would be better if they never changed the semis from a neutral ground, dependant on the location of the two teams. This saves money for the fans rather than earn the FA a few extra 100k. On the flip side, it means less fans can see the semi. However, the final is more of an occasion and a little more special.

It doesn't look great but the FA aren't going to move the semi finals from Wembley any time soon. They need to off set the cost of the build.

That's right. (Apart from having the final in the Midlands part). Why should Wigan travel to London for a semi-final? Seriously?

Might be interesting to see if that many Arsenal fans could be bothered to make the journey out of London in their thousands.

The only reason it is held at Wembley is money, don't even try to sugar-coat it with 'it is for the fans'.

You're right about the semi final.

The final should of course be at Wembley.

Sick of semi finals at Wembley

Just takes the shine off the final at the end of the day

Having them at Villa Park would make more sense

I mean, having Hull and Sheffield somewhere further north would have made more sense

Manchester has trains to both places and is also next to the motorway. Let them play at Old Trafford or the Etihad

If two northern teams made the semi.. as it was for Sheffield United v Hull it really should have been staged at Old Trafford.
Weird that no one seemed to care that they all had to go to Wembley. Perhaps they buzzed off the day out, but it still should have been O.T.
