A friend who runs a community centre is having problems logging in to the centre e-mail address,it has a lot of info about clients,finances etc so would anybody know what would be causing this problem?

He probably needs to update Windows. I think this is usually a security/permissions issue.

Tried sawdust, turning it off/on and putting it in the freezer while stuffed with saw dust,bag of rice didnt work either,so any other help would be welcome because at the moment she is at a loss because all appointments etc are in the e-mail account

There's your problem mate.

You need to turn it off/on whilst sitting in the freezer on a pile of sawdust while eating rice.
