Electronic music thread

Went to a Pure Trance label event in Leeds last night. Peter Steele and Solarstone DJ’ing and ‘Super-Frog Saves Tokyo’ playing his live show which is as an amazing hour of live, trancy acid techno.
Had a chat with him after the event and he’s a really nice bloke as well.

Solarstone played a 3 hour set. Loads of his older classic tunes in there, Seven Cities and the like. He dropped ‘3rd Earth’ in there and it absolutely went off.

What a tune!

Something a bit more progressive from me. Had a couple of prog DJ friends play this out in their sets and had some good feedback, so decided to chuck it up on Bandcamp.
Will be up on the streaming services/Youtube next week at some point.

Initially, thought Vangelis (bladerunner) vs Running man, with a bit of James Holden mixed in. But it finished off very heavily Li Kwan 'Point Zero'. V nice.

Actually came about while messing around with some analogue emulation plugins, including this one, modelled on the Oberheim X series synths:

Hence the 80's synthphonica/Vangelis vibes :)

New Solarstone album dropped today 'Innermost'

Leaning more heavily towards the more downtempo sound, lots of chill and chilled breaks on this one as well.
This is my pick of the bunch though - love the vocals.

There's a signature sound in this, I'm trying to place it, possibly 'speak in sympathy'. It'll be difficult to isolate just in words.
