Electronic music thread



Seemed like such a short lived thing, Dubstep. For a period of a couple of years it was all you’d hear with loads of nights on.
Yeah, same with DnB to a lesser extent. A few producers such as Skream ended up moving over to house and/or Techno. I may be wrong but I think it’s a bit limited so they run out of ideas.

A member of one of my favourite DnB acts, Commix, now produces some red very good techno.

Yeah, one of the original members of Commix (George) has continued producing under the name, which I don’t agree with. His music isn’t anywhere near the level of the old group. I’m led to believe Guy was the one with the most talent, and is the one I was referring to. He left in 2011 or something.

George, the remaining member, set up a course offering lessons in music production and a lot of people signed up and handed over a lot of money. He failed to fulfil what he’d agreed to around 20 people who are owed thousands of pounds in total. They’re rightfully angry.
