It has to be within 50 days, (29 days to respond with a date, and the date has to be 29 days from that response...)

...Think we will probably hear about the stadium before hand tbh...

Its an excuse to have a rant really isnt it, nothing will change, doesnt their have to be a majority shareholding to change any decison, hmm who has the most shares!

They haven't got enough shareholders yet. It wont make a blind bit of difference anyway. Just no voters getting more desperate

I was assuming that the first message was confirming the EGM......?

For the Pro Kirkby people, then yes, it is a tea and biscuits affair and nothing much can change what the majority shareholders want to persue. But I was under the impression that the purpose of the meeting was to ask pointed questions to the board about the way the original proposal has changed out of sight to what is being offered now and most importantly the financial implications and projections which the two blokes who have requested this meeting suggest, dont add up. So if the board members actually answear the questions truthfully ( haha ) then maybe the likes of us who know nothing and who argue what is correct and what is not correct from the info which is available now, the theories, hearsay and conjecture may stop......or may not ?

Does anybody know just how much more time GONW needs to decide that they really do have to reccommend this project to be called in ? its been two weeks already.........this decision may be effecting David Moyes with transfers ?

Minority shareholders, good luck ! Give them hell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (y)

Interesting take on "The Everton shareholders campaigning for an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Club have now got well over the 20% level of shareholder support required to call an EGM."

Only going by what a shareholder spokesman said on the radio earlier

Some really problematic situations seem to be apparent.

[Poor language removed] it, stay at Goodison, don't care if it falls down. What we need is some big businessman to come in, by the club - fix Goodison, and that's the end of it.

Happened to Newcastle, why not us?
