An usually frank appraisal from David Prentice. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/ever...-really-deserve-an-apology-100252-30113321/2/
Where's the honesty? keeping quiet about how much **** we are in hoping to find an investor is clearly not working, why dont he just come out and tell the truth.
He mentioned running at a £5 million a year loss, well fine do what any other business does and reduce its costs so that it doesnt lose this money. Tell us that we need to sell "Arteta" for example and this income and reduced wages will help that.
Try and get the club making a profit so this can be re-invested into the club, or pay off debt quicker to make us a more attractive proposition.
If Bill isnt capable of running the club as a business, then hire someone who is, A good CEO can make/save more money than they are paid!!

Prentice and the Echo can stick their johnny-come-lately criticism where the sun dont shine.
Many of us have been saying all this for years and were told by the same feller and his crew that we were wrong and that it was all good; that Bill and his cohorts were doing their best; that the club was doing as well as it could possibly be expected to do. Now the ground is shifting and people like Prentice and the Echo sports team dont want to be cut off and isolated.
A purley self serving piece by the local hackery. Too little, too late.
