Oh another youngster with a revisionist version of history and a 21st century whine that didn't happen at the time.

If we do everything clean we won't get a transfer ban regardless of the RS, just as other English teams wouldn't have got a ban had we all not had a hooligan problem, none moreso than us with the County Road Cutters the most notorious firm outside London and Andy Nicholls the most notorious hooligan in northern England....who "just happened to be at Heysel" despite Everton not playing.
Using Heysel for point scoring... sh1thouse behavior

Lol the County Road Cutters weren't even a thing and Andy Nicholls wasn't even the most notorious Everton hooligan.

You strange, strange lunatic.

Sorry mate... maybe I'm wrong... but I'm still not convinced

No need to be sorry mate.

I have no idea how old you are, obvs, but the state of English football in the mid 80s was lower than a snakes belly in a wheel rut.

It, Heysell, happened to involve that lot.

In reality, it could have involved any English team playing in Europe. (As could Hillsborough)

An unfortunate truism.

Old enough to remember the harrowing footage mate... something I hope to never witness the likes of again.

'Tommy Evans' likes this.

Very true mate, but it didn't. It was them. Ifs, buts and maybes doesn't change that fact.

If the club had acted with a bit of compassion, dignity and most of all ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY regarding the whole tragedy maybe Liverpool fans wouldn't branded 'murderers', and rival fans wouldn't vilify Liverpool FC about it.

Alas that I was a youngster. I was 10 at the time and fairly ignorant of any hooligan antics from when I started going with my dad in the 80s. Ask someone at least a few years older than me and you'd more than likely get a different answer.

It was but a post in jest at our beloved neighbours. Like Confucius said, "Fat child, blame the parents. Fat adult, small blame to adults, most blame to the fat adult." Everton FC have made more than enough hashes of any chances to turn our fortunes around and for me Heysel is now just a reference in our history relating to the demise of our champion team.

As for Heysel, don't drag our name into it. Whatever nonsense this County Road Cutters is needs to be nipped in the bud. It's came out of nowhere recently and stinks of Koppite mud slinging where everyone but Liverpool's fans are to blame.

This. Heysel wasn't the root of our problems, it certainly was a catalyst but as you said we have had ample opportunity to rectify it over the years. A plethora of bad decisions (which seem to keep going) have kept us at the mildly average end of the PL. Will only change when the people in charge are gone.

European football next season is going to break them
their squad isn't good enough

how many away premier league games will they have the weekend after a european game? I'll be watching that closely

Better to have away games - if your performance is going to dip then better to dip from a lower standard (average away performance) than a higher one (home points average is usually better).

The perfect pressie for those RS members of your extended family.

It's a never ending jigsaw which always requires 'just one more piece'.

Some pieces - like the Markovic piece - never quite fit no matter how hard you try to squeeze them into the framework.
