Why so confrontational friend? I'm just stating what I believe based on what friends, who would've seen such a thing, have advised.

In answer to your question; good point. There has never been an example ever of collusion involving the police and the press. Nope.

i missed out a BBC reporter and several liverpool fans too, they've all come together extremely quickly along with Merseyside police to get this going.

Get real

You seem to have a vested interest in this, why I would not know. It's certainly got you fired up though. Might I suggest you sit down and have a cup of tea, close the laptop and watch a bit of "escape to the country" and hopefully the sweeping shots of country villages, fields and sheep might have a calming effect on you.

According to the Police Press Office or Force Control Room which ever quoted the job media wise, the banner was removed at 5.30pm and maybe that's why some people en route say they didn't see it. If they travelled before that, then they would have seen it at Whiston. Lets face it, theres clearly previous for this between both lots of supporters and I don't understand the vehement denials as to its existence from some quarters regarding it.

There seems to be a rewriting of history here regarding this game.

The evil Mourinho and his anti football stopped those lovable reds, really??

I though United dominated for at least a good 35 mins in the first half, I mean completely dominated despite not creating much (Similar to City at the weekend when the first time Stek touched the ball was the pen).

Liverpool were poor and for the last 30 mins United did settle for a point but did so comfortably.

They both created 1 very good chance as Coutinho's was a bit of individual brilliance out of nothing, it was not something they created.

I really can't see what Liverpool did in the 2nd half different to what United did in the first.

I even said I'm the match thread this would happen. It's a lazy narrative from the kopite media. Next trick will be them piling the pressure on West Brom to come out and play tippy tippy football against them. I hope Pulis just parks another double decker and asks genius Klopp to have another go at breaking it down.

Thought we were abysmal to be honest. That's the worst I've seen us play under Klopp. It was obvious that Mourinho and Manchester United had one aim and one aim alone - to defend and get a nil-nil and the manager and players played right into their hands.

Disgraceful really. But I hope Klopp looks at it, accepts that he got it totally wrong and we can learn.

To be fair though, Mourinho is the master of negative, boring, park-the-bus anti-football and in any sport or activity, it's always tricky trying to deal with that. It goes against everything that sport is supposed to be about. Competition.

The referee was a total joke. Every 50-50 he gave to Manchester United and how Abromovich was still on the pitch at the end? Not sure what it looked like on the telly, but at Anfield it seemed that he got away with 5 or 6 yellow cards before finally being booked. And he wasn't the only one. The referee just refused to do his job.

When did they sign the Chelsea Chairman ?

You've just suggested that 5 media outlets and a police force (including the Echo & Merseyside police) all conspired to get this false story out there yet i'm the one with a vested interest in this.

Wheres that Jennifer Lawrence gif when you need it

I made a general statement about not swallowing everything the press says without question, and then the bolded based on what a friend who drove the match told me, whilst acknowledging that it was entirely possible that it could have happened, but as stated before I'd not seen any actual proof:

The city of Liverpool as a whole should have learned a lesson not to believe everything you read.

Good friend of mine, a United fan, doesn't seem to know anyone who went the game who saw this sign driving down. Not that the RS are below doing it of course

You started bleating on about conspiracies

So this conspiracy involves, The Mail, The Mirror, The press association, The Liverpool Echo & Merseyaide police does it?

The mind boggles. Someone might think you're just going around trying to cause infighting for "banter" so you can go back to your mates on a different site and brag about how you wound up the Blues. Hmmmm

why have you got a vested interest in what interests him eh badge man ?

Whatever happened to him? Not a game used to go by without the camera zooming into him
