Deal with the devil or corruption. No other explanation how they are so spawny so often.
Or maybe they just turn up for big games, which is something we've not done too often?

I mean I hate them, don't get me wrong, but they ALWAYS turn up in that kind of game. Doesn't matter who the opposition is, who their manager is, where they play - they turn up.

And the deal with the devil is the other 50%.

I honestly hate football now . The only thing that keeps me slightly interested is the fact I've been a season ticket holder for 20 years and been going the game about 25 years .

Haven't watched match of the day all season And probably watched less than 10 non Everton games all season

If it weren't for Everton and enjoying a bet I would honestly stop watching altogether .
same mate.went solid 40 odd years , any cup , reserve games, friendlies fair few aways, and even a good few Lfc games with my mates and brothers(About 100 +) had a season ticket from late 70's till two seasons ago, worked out since 71 i had missed less than ten home games, them stopped enjoying it, possibly the last two seasons before i jibbed it.
Now i just go the odd game with my lad and mates and if i am honest its just to catch up, always watch them but cant really be bothered half the time. sad but the passion seems to have gone away for me.

I recall the look in your eye when you were told I was a Moyes fan.

Scary.

Him and kenwright did for me plucky little Everton my arse , sooner give It 100% to win and fail rather than just show up and hope for the best.
thats were the rs have it over us they never expected to get beat and go for it.
might fail now and again but still go for it next time.
to nice Everton for my liking

Not watched MOTD for about 6 years, full of bellends talking about bellends

The self flagellating on here is sickening. All the money they've spent for a league cup final appearance and a little run in Europe. We all want Everton to be back amongst the elite of football. That lot though haven't been part of the footballing elite since 1990.They are a text book example to us on how not to run a football club.

Everyone banging on about how much we should admire their 'never say die spirit' or how well they played should just wind their necks in right now.

Played well my arse. Four shots on target, four goals. Hardly peppering the goal is it? And Dortmund basically did a Moyes after 3-1, went into frightened defensive mode and hoped for the best.

Half the reason they get results like this is teams giving them too much respect. In the league, familiarity has made the Stokes and Southamptons of this world twig that they're not invincible, hence their league placing. To the less familiar, there's still this myth of an 'invincible aura', and it's bullsh*t.

I've never 'given them credit', never 'handed it to them', never said 'fair play like' and NEVER wished I was like them

I loathe them with the passion of a thousand suns. Team, management, fans, catering staff, the lot. And always will.

We are Everton. They are beneath us.

Apparently Klopp invoked the 'spirit of Istanbul' to inspire his players at half time. Honestly, you couldn't make this drivel up. I need a beer.

Not disagreeing with most of your sentiments but unfortunately many people with admire their bouncebackability
If we were 3-1 down at home to anyone, never mind Dortmund, do you think we could win 4-3 under the current management?

It's all over the front page -Yes that's right - FRONT PAGE - of the Echo owning Mirror. Incredible really.

They win a free kick in the 91st minute - ill discipline from Dortmund - Sturridge calls for it and unchallenged nutmegs one and 2 other zombies fail to cut it out or follow Milner. Free cross past statuesque defenders and grounded keeper. How many fk ups - strokes of good fortune can you get in the hour of need ? Bingo

And then the ref sees an imagined foul 3 or 4 yards further out than the real one - it's incredible

Later I shall reaffirm the remarkable off the bell shaped curve luck they have with regard to random European draws. How Over 70 yes 70 percent of their ties are 2nd leg at home. Incredible
