ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Heard in a debate this morning that; 'Leicester should be beating Liverpool, it's the next 2 fixtures that are true tests'.

I think that would make a lovely banner for the kopites to make on a bed sheet.

So as a protest they're going to purposefully miss the last 15 minutes of a game... After paying for the ticket. Yeah I bet the owners will be gutted
That is what i don't get about these types of things.

the owners in that respect only want the fans money, if they walked out after 5 minutes or 85 minutes, as long as they bought the ticket the board are happy.

The bigger question will be will they do it in mass, and if they do, what will klopp say about it? He can't lambast the fans for protesting and he can't slag the board off so early on.

Teixera going to China ahead of Liverpool is a reality check for them as a club, sorry but no way on earth does he opt for that move if the club that was after him was Chelsea, United, Barca etc, only way they can get the 'top' players is if they just stump up what the selling club demands without haggling, they don't have the allure they once had to pull players towards them over the money on offer now from other places - China ffs, what a way to flush your career down the toilet in exchange for money

Side note, absolutely delighted they missed out on him as he is a very very good player who would have improved them a lot, think Klopp is going to have an interesting summer watching one target after another choose teams ahead of moving to that pit

I'll be surprised if Teixera does this tbh, surely he's been a Liverpool fan since childhood?

I suppose what with Sturridge wanting out, getting spanked by Leicester, all the ticket shenanigans and now that lad going to China instead of them this sort of thing was inevitable:

Was thinking this myself.
Am I missing something but wouldn't it be a better protest if nobody bought a ticket and didn't turn up?.

That wouldn`t work as all those tickets would be snapped up by daytrippers.

Even the loveables i work with acknowledge this.

Unless upwardsof 50% get up and walk i think it`s a futile gesture.

They would need to be at least three goals up for it to attract owt but the most outraged to participate.

Imagine they were still at 0-0 or clinging on to a 2-1 lead......what kind of an idiot is going to get up and walk out?

Oh wait.....the SOS are like the Borg....
