Just checked that as well, 39 goals in 37 games in the last 2 years.

Basically paying money for a player in form, who can lose said form as soon as he gets to them... which I hope happens really, for fun if nothing else.

As for the paper reports about him, i actually think (and hope) that they are bollox though, for one they are calling him a striker when he is is not and never has been one - he plays that attacking mid role - the same one that is the best position for both Firminho and Coutinho so seems truly bizarre that they'd bring ANOTHER one in who is best their. Also not 100% sure but don't think he has ever been capped for Brazil and he hasn't a second nationality so struggling to think if he'd get a permit or not...

Chelsea have been linked with him for best part of a year as Hazards replacement as well, and Shaktar will want a lot more than the quoted 20m being bandied about by the latest red top reports

Well no senior caps for Brasil yet, but he's been in Ukraine for 6 years, dual nationality just to get here? lol

he's played 40-50 games and played well in the CL mate - proven at a higher level than the likes of Firminho was, seriously hope that he doesn't end up at the rs

How about 11 goals in the last 28 CL games from Attacking Mid then mate?

and last two seasons he has scored 39 goals in 37 games in the league - not 1 in 2 mate, and thats from attacking mid he is not a striker

I meant league games in the last 2 years mate. 222 games if we count everything from all his years in Ukraine though.

Well if he's being playing amf that's a different matter in terms of goals per game - whatever the league.

I vaguely remember him in CL highlights packages but he's never really registered. If he's what you say he is then I wonder what Liverpool are doing going for him if they have - as you point out - two that already take up this space in their squad.

I can only think Klopp wants to go with no recognised striker but do it with a more prolific scoring player in there.

Think it will just be bs mate, either lazy journalism or his agent throwing the rs name out their to spark Chelsea into finally bidding, the player has basically courted for a year a move to Chelsea and mentioned them a fair few times in interviews etc.

He is the only attacking player from that league without any reservations that i would take 100% besides for Yarmolenko mate, he has that habit of arriving in the right place at the right time on a scary consistent basis.

Removing any bias - he is a clear level above Firminho, Coutinho and Oscar

A few papers reporting Ian Ayre out in Florida now negotiating. Maybe a smokescreen for other targets from LFC perspective but pretty elaborate if it is.

If he's better than Coutinho he must be a hell of a player. I really rate Coutinho. I'd imagine Liverpool will have to sell him on shortly. He's a cut above them.

Coutinho is good for 1 game in 4. Certainly nothing special.
