Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard posted a message on Instagram about his former team-mate Jon Flanagan.
Gerrard writes: "So happy to see this fella close to returning to fitness . . He has put so much graft in to get himself back fit . I'm sure anfield will erupt when he runs back onto the pitch after a 18 month lay off ...good luck mate great to see you back and we have missed you #cafu"

An absolute steal at that price mate, he is very very good and has been not only in the league but in the CL as well, a big step above the likes of Firminho IMO, seen him a fair few times and he absolutely controls a game
As for the paper reports about him, i actually think (and hope) that they are bollox though, for one they are calling him a striker when he is is not and never has been one - he plays that attacking mid role - the same one that is the best position for both Firminho and Coutinho so seems truly bizarre that they'd bring ANOTHER one in who is best their. Also not 100% sure but don't think he has ever been capped for Brazil and he hasn't a second nationality so struggling to think if he'd get a permit or not...
Chelsea have been linked with him for best part of a year as Hazards replacement as well, and Shaktar will want a lot more than the quoted 20m being bandied about by the latest red top reports
