But they do mention Stevie Me.......hahahaha........

"A golf club has snubbed former England Captain Steven Gerrard because of fears his behaviour off the pitch would damage their reputation, it is claimed.

The former Liverpool star had applied to join the prestigious Hillside Golf Club in Southport, Merseyside, recommended by TV football pundit Alan Hansen and former Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish - who are both members.

But the club, which charges visitors up to £150 per game, refused his application for fear he would bring 'shame' to their good name, it is claimed."

Hope this is true.

Craig Bellamy likes this.

I've got absolutely no time for haughty, snobbish, arrogant institutions clinging on to archaic admissions policies...

But I'll let that one slide.

Some last gasp goals are keeping the knives at bay for now. You can sense the crowd just waiting for those one or two bad results to rip their new messiah apart.

no chance. mate, he took off lallana for caulker in the 88th minute with them 3-2 down. He also brought on joe allen, whilst they were losing. Yes, he scored, but both were negative moves, yet were applauded. there was no murmurs that any other club would have let out if he was there. He's only been there 5 mins, but their fans are already too scared to question any of his baffling decision in case he leaves them. Personally, he's had a host of terrible results so far, and hasn't been an improvement on rodgers what so ever - the coverage of him is really sickening it must be said - but so funny that liverpool are so small time that they're now second fiddle to him in the media.

I should probably be used to their delusion by now, but I honestly don't get why pretty much every kopite seems to be buzzing over a 3-3 draw at home to Arsenal?

I suppose it's better than drawing to West Brom, but I'm baffled by it.

Aye. Not so long ago there'd have been a public inquiry as to how they could be leading twice then scrape a draw with a last minute goal from hoofball.

Now they seem happy to overlook it for fear of their manager looking like the egomaniacal fraud he is....

By rights we should be nailed on to win the Champions League having drawn at the Etihad

Especially when Arsenal's previous away game was a 4-0 defeat at Southampton.
