They're the types of blokes you see on the tube, with their scarf neatly folded on their knees, going to their mates before kick off. And pontificate wildly throughout their game. Probably one of them is responsible for the Alternative Premier League.

Splitting hairs, Mr. Super Scouse.

Skem and Warrington are well within our catchment area for both players and fans,

Next think you will be looking Chico to re-draw his Wool Map to include Kirkby.

Though you might have a point there :(

Catchment area, yes

Scousers, no.

...which was the point of the debate.

On topic: Pato LOL

Nopers.....the "point of the debate" is you splitting hairs.

Skem and Warrington are local whether you like it ir not.

I was born and raised in Garston.......dockland heart of the Scouse republic.

Currently live in Melling.....in the borough of Sefton.

Yet the latter address is at least three times closer to Goodison than the former.

Are you trying to tell me that if my grandson, who lives 500 yards away and is a True Blue like all belonging to him (except his dad but that ain't my fault, he was already a cultist when my daughter met him ) turns out good enough to play for EFC the Super Scouse brigade are going to tell me he isn't a local lad?

Not on your nelly :p

Everton FC is not the sole property of Scousers......it belongs to Evertonians ;)

The question was about Scousers

You are talking about something else altogether

I'm really not arsed about where you live. We are talking about Scousers in the team.

If you can't learn to read, please don't get involved.

On topic: Kopites eh, utter biffs.

Skem and Warrington are about as local as Bolton and Manchester

Yes but mate his grandson could end up playing for Everton and he is a scouser oh wait I'm not sure hang on is Osman a Skem Snitch oh yes he is oh wait aren't we talking about @Khalekan 's living arrangements and that his daughter got biffed by a Kopite oh wait hang on yes.

Or, we could leave it as first, the topic was about SCOUSERS in the Everton team (not catchment areas and who is entitled to be a Blue (anyone and everyone btw) and this is a thread about laughing at Kopites, like the one mentioned above.

Klopp is going to need some kind of miracle there.

He needs about 8 players for the first 11 and quality depth in the squad.

Cant be done overnight....

Well if you are not "arsed" about where anyone lives, why start this ridiculous hair splitting debate in the first place?

You so realise the term "Scouse" was a derogatory term for seamen from the Merseyside area who ate a certain type of stew, don't you?

Outside of pedants in Liverpool pubs you won't hear people in other parts of the country debate whether or not someone from Bootle is a Scouser or not.

In their eyes we all are.......Garston, Kirkby, Litherland, Runcorn and all

We are on about Scousers, as in, not people from Skem, or Warrington, or Wigan etc

So the squad yesterday (which if you'd bothered to read the debate rather than being a weirdo) had two Scousers in it only.

That's all we are talking about. We're not bothered about the word origins, or whether your son in law is a mutant.

Please learn to read before getting involved as quite frankly it makes you look a biff (again)

Back on ignore you go
