As if last week's whinge in his column wasn't enough, good ould Aldo has once again sought to remind us again regarding his scoring prowess as its still being ignored apparently.

WELL done, Jamie Vardy. What an absolutely fantastic achievement to have scored in 11 successive games.

I don’t care that he’s overtaken my record, I just think it’s brilliant that a lad who has come through the leagues like he has can achieve something so extraordinary.

It seems like only the ECHO and Liverpool supporters could remember that I once scored in 10 successive matches, but I did.

Now, though, Vardy stands out in front.

And we don’t need to hear the name of that other fella from Old Trafford any more! A good result all round, I’d say.

Unbelievably pathetic....even for him.
Did Vardy not score in 11 successive league games, as against random games?

Did anybody else notice last night that despite City having won 4-1, Stoke having won 2-0 and us having won away 2-0 at a strong Championship side, all Talksport wanted to talk about was the RS ??
Phenomenally unbelievable how jaundiced the media are towards them.

I see the chite have topped another league - most money wasted on payments to agents! They will be celebrating this trophy with gusto tonight

But that's why they can't spend like schitteh, untied & chelsea....when you buy 'de best in der werld' it means the agent's fees are gonna be through the roof, and prevent you from buying the 'next best in der werlddddd'

Or something like that.

I think they have the game on live commentary, hence they drone on about it. They are the same whichever game they have.

Give it a rest mate, next you'll be questioning why sky coverage of our game started at 7.30, whereas tonights starts at 7.00. Hold on a minute...

I think the RS will demanding an FA inquiry as to why there was no RS supporter anywhere near our game last night. Gareth Southgate and some Scot in the commentary, who was very good actually. What a refreshing night to watch us on the box.

hahaha oh Aldo lad. I'm sure the drunks in your local still talk about your achievement when you all roll out the pub stinking of smoke and shame. If there's a bloke that sums up that club better it's Aldo. Spouting bitter bile about how he's still relevant and won't everyone talk about him and not United.

Most consecutive top flight league matches scored in: 12, Jimmy Dunne, for Sheffield United between 24-October-1931 and 1-January-1932, 18 goals in all.

And Sound As A Pound's 10-game game streak came before the advent of the Premier League, whereas Van Nistelrooy's and now Vardy's came in the Premier League. So he didn't hold the record in either era, making him doubly irrelevant, if that was even possible.
