You can never rule them out of finishing in the top 4 or very close to it. It always seems like they get more decisions going their way than any other team in the prem.

Think there was a stat this weekend that they've been given and scored more penalties in 'Prem history' than any other team.

I bet you could expand that to 'top flight history' too.

They have had 135 penalties and the nearest team has 103 i.e 32 more about 22%. That would mean they are in the penalty area roughly 22% more than their nearest and possibly 30 - 50% more than most other teams. Which in turn would mean they have had a helluva lot more possession than opponents in the Premier League era.

It could also mean they are more accomplished at falling over in the PB.

I remember kids singing it when I was little when Yellow Submarine was all the rage...."We all live in a red and white kop.....a red and white etc". I even realised at that early age that they were patently gobsh.....er, lacking imagination.
Before they all lived in a Robbie Fowler House - bought with money they contributed towards. Ironic (if it were true).

which is astounding from a team that hasnt even won it.

So, fellow Blues, anyone care to enlighten me and everyone else, as to the origin of the term Red and WHITE Kop? I mean surely the powers that be over there, the ones who started this glorious example of Web Democracy, aren't all old enough to remember that lot wearing white shorts (was it 1964?)

Or is there some other, more sinister, meaning?

well than as now they wore all red, but when you're singing a song to the tune of yellow submarine the words red and red kop don't scan.
The actual red shorts thing DID start in 64 they had to change shorts in some Euro games, which then morphed into 'those lucky red shorts' so they started wearing them for ALL games, which in effect meant League games...until the FA told them that they had to play in the colours they registered at the start of the season.
low and behold they registered the red shorts as the offical kit for the next season

They did how ever use the fact that Leeds played in all white to wear the 'lucky red shorts' in the 65 cup final.

Gerrard, stirling, and suarez diving will be the answer.

Next time they're on tele i'm going to actually log how often Klopp is shown. It's weird!!

Camera seems to cut to him nonstop throughout the match and just lingers on him. Suppose sky/bt are just giving the idiots what they want, they can all fawn over their new messiah and take screenshots to show no other manager points like him
