ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Kopite mate of mine reckons Sakho is world class cos he passes forward and has a good pass percentage.

They're weird.
He belongs more in Chester Zoo than on a football pitch as he plays football like a baby giraffe; it's embarrassing how bad he actually is.

He may play for France and his statistics may be surprising, yet when I've ever seen him 'play football' he's been utterly woeful on each occasion.

Out of interest mate which players signed recently would be performing better in our squad do you think?

I'd say Firmino and also Markovic...

They are utterly pathetic. There's nothing to shout about but they find it. Apparently Benteke's goal was one of the greatest headers in Liverpool's history.

That, and the cult status of dog of dogs Sakho, tells you all you need to know about where they are right now.

I cant say there's any I'd be desperate for, tbh. Maybe someone like Lallana could float about in behind Lukaku with more intent for us than he shows at Liverpool.

I'd agree on the Lallana point; I think he would be a 'fairly reasonable' option in that elusive creative-player or number ten role.

He's not an amazing player, but he looked effective at Sutton with some nice moment and a range of passing in his arsenal.

Furthermore, he's a Blue so I'm sure he'd show a fair level of intent and passion for us. I certainly wouldn't pay £20m plus for him though!

Benteke wouldn't be a bad option, but again not at the ridiculous price they've paid. It may not be pretty, but he terrorises defences and scores.

I'd have had Ings as a secondary striker behind Rom as well, as long as the price was right. Able to play direct and knows where the goal is.

The rest would struggle to dislodge any other of our starting XI and arguably a few of our substitutes. Firminho is an unknown up to now...
