As night follows day.. Satan's transfer fee percentage payment returns the first spawny win of the season (and, to rub everyone else's nose in it coupled with the irony of the unsubbed player being the hero and Chelsea/Arsenal messing up).

Irrespective of sour grapes (i.e. not winning) - we suffer a massive loss of Baines and a ref who misses two clear red card challenges. The season is back folks.

Two clear red card challenges?

Flukey win against a poor and under strength Stoke side. Fear not, I expect Liverpool to start well but get caught out as the season goes on. They are going to need a very good start to stand a chance of being in the top 5 given the usual bottling it job they go in for post Christmas.

They looked very ordinary even allowing for my blue tinted specs, poor game drifting to a 0-0,give Coutinho his due if you see the whites of the posts have a shot, our lot pass the buck so much when we have a sight of goal(yeah I know Barkley goal asidelol)

Nice strike but pity Buckland was too far off his line as he really could have done better - he did get a full hand onto it.. What was he straying off his line for?

Media can't get enough of that win. Seeing as some of the other big boys messed up they're proclaiming the title challenge early this season. To be honest Stoke should have been one up had Glen Johnson, well not been Glen Johnson. Coutinho then just belted one. Fair enough but you can't do that every week. The midfield looked slow and laboured and Benteke completely isolated. They looked like us with a decent keeper and the one creative player that we are trying to sign.

It was shocking keeping....he's got to go for that with his top hand as well, not his lower hand and he'll be working on that every day of the week in training....really poor.
