.....all the media indications from those supposedly ITK are that Rodgers will be given more time. If that is the case, though, it's hard to see how they will give him the spend budget he has had in previous windows.

Liverpool FC 2015 Anthems"Brendan! Rodgers! Brendan! Rodgers! Brendan Rodgers Liverpool we're gonna finish seventh, sell our best player abroad and then we'll be eleveeenth"

"Ohhh we're mid table, it's all we're able, to really do. They say we've got no goal scorers; we're playing well to par, to finish in top four would have been utopiaaa"

"And it's Sentimenttt. Sentimeeeent FC! We are quiiite an average team, but show blind loyalty."

And who can forget the classic fan favourite on our UEFA Ranking:

"Lower than Dnipro! Lower than Dnipro! La laaa laaa laaa! La laaa laaa laaa!"

....just listened to a German footy expert on radio. Asked about Klopp to the Reds he said in recent years they had asked about him twice but Klopp wanted an "established Champions League club". Saying that there are real similarities between Dortmund and the Reds and the timing might mean Klopp could be interested now. He ended by saying, however, that the rumours he is hearing (across Europe) are that Rodgers will be given more time.

I think rodgers will get the boot if Klopp lifts his thumb up.

That's just not fair. They must give him a hundred million or two, yank b'stards............

I know exactly who you're on about, but I can't remember his name. When we beat them 2-0 he went on a massive rant at the end of his video about our fans singing "going down", saying that "at least our club has a future". He actually looked a bit like Aldridge, and reminded me of him in a lot of ways

Yes he did look like Aldridge a good description. He must be lurking somewhere on the internet, and with his ego and mouth the size of the Mersey tunnel be busy giving it large on the internet somewhere, surely someone can find him! I'd love to hear his misery at the current season.

And yes that derby video he put up was superb, he was nearly crying in it. I think he said something like "and don't even think about trying to share a new stadium with us, you can stick to your shitty ground" or something equally ridiculous. It was that video he made mention of the fans who were laughing at him on this site. I think that irked him more than the defeat, the fact he had become a joke figure.

I also remember he listened to a cup game V Northampton live. They had drawn in extra time. He was giving it large about how "winning on penalties isn't a win anyway" taking it for granted they'd win on penalties. Cue 3 Liverpool players blasting it over and his miserable little face sagging that bit more.

Come on, someone help me out here, I need to view the little cretin again!

Was it Raphael Honigstein? If so, he usually seems to be pretty accurate in his reporting.

When I've heard him talk about it in the past he seemed to think Liverpool were a much better fit than City, talked about how Klopp likes a emotional relationship with the fans - not something the Etihad is known for.

...I think it was him actually. Very good English and really articulate. He talked about the fans and the passion for football in the city, also commented on Dortmund singing YNWA.

...strangely they talked more about Arsenal being a better fit except for the timing. He could perhaps follow the latest trend and take a sebatical from the game and take the hot seat at Arsenal in 12 months. I agree with you that City would have to be an attractive option.
Last year I might have agreed with you but now that their stadium's paid off and they look like having serious money to spend I can see Wenger staying another 2-3 years to have a serious go at a title.
