ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

On paper you might be happy with that but look at the dates of those fixtures all no more than 4 days between each game. Stoke are never a pushover. They have the must win Basel Fixture wedged between Sunderland at home and United away. Some players may even be rested in the Sunderland game preparing for Basel which could allow for Sunderland to get something out of that. The Bournemouth awaygame is wedged between United away and Arsenal at home so can't see them putting a strong side out to Bournemouth which may result in them exiting the league cup!

Plus their playing absolute pony regardless of who the opponents are or which players they choose, a couple more defeats on the run and they'll fully implode and Rodgers will be a dribbling mess in press conferences.

He's struggling to compose himself as it is and hasn't taken Carraghers criticism from the weekend well, imagine if their still struggling in the league and come 3rd in that group and then get knocked out of the cup to Bournemouth! He'd be doing interviews from a padded cell in a Liverpool straight jacket with "we won the passing game" smeared on the walls in his own excrement.

ive said this before on Twitter and I'll say it again here - with us playing spurs, city and southampton away before christmas, liverpool MAY only really need to win 3-4 of their games between now and then to be above us on christmas day. I'd hold off laughing at them too much for now...

I laugh at them because they've squandered millions upon millions of pounds and been found out for the one man team they were last season. Their captain is past it and having to defend himself against assault claims, they've just been beat in the league and struggled away to Ludogrets and are struggling to get out of their CL group, their manager provides endless cringey quotes after each match and their best striker is out for weeks. If I can't laugh now, when can I?

A hundred million pound spent and they might be above us by Christmas.

Its never stopped us before ! They've been above us this season and we can still laugh because the whole clubs a complete joke....its not just about their points tally. Regarding the logistics of your fear, that means winning 3/4 from their five league games before Boxing Day..... and two of those are v Man Utd and Arsenal.

ha fair enough I didn't look at the fixtures! its true they have squandered a lot of money! Hopefully rodgers will last the season due to the goodwill from last year, and when he does go hopefully a similarly stupid decision will be made, maybe gerrard as player manager or something.

You think we are laughing at them because we are above them?

I am buzzing off the nob heads because they had convinced themselves that this was there time, That Rodgers was the new Shankley and the Premier league was there's for the taking, The have spent 150m in the summer and 220m in total since Rodgers took over to have a starting eleven that is utter dog turd from the keeper to there forwards, We have Eto and Lukaku up top and they have Lambert and Borini, Excuse me whilst I laugh my tits off at the utter fuking cretins that support that club, Excuse me whilst I buzz off there whopper manager who is slowly losing the will to live after every lacklustre performance, Excuse me whilst I laugh at the fact Suarez dropped them in a heart beat and showed them up for the one player team we all knew they we're

If we sat bottom of league two I would still laugh at the grief seeking whoppers
