ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Most of the players don't seem to care about Liverpool. Brad Jones laughing after Palace scored their second yesterday is an example, and then you just have to look at individual performances, questions around Sturridge desire etc.

I am sure they do care. Just like most footballers care about winning and the fans they play for each week. What they don't do is buy into this bizarre mindset where Liverpool Football Club is this mythical institution that is somehow intrinsically superior to all others, something special and unique and different. It's got all the hallmarks of a religious cult. Good luck finding players that subscribe to their weird hive-mind mentality.

It's just a football club ffs. You're not special for following them.

RAWK loved this post (especially after the not so impressive win at spurs) so thought I'd bump it so they can read it again. Still laughing, you mentalists?

Turns out I was actually being kind, genuinely think if Sturridge is out for the season then they will be in a relegation scrap. Even if he comes back they won't improve by too much.

Villa victory here and that's another team breathing down their necks.

You were pretty spot on, to be fair. I'm finding it hard to accept that Raheem Sterling might not be that good, he was the one player of theirs who I really rated. I suppose I still he think he's good but it's probably ridiculous of them to expect a 19 year old to drag them out of the mire, that kind of expectation is ludicrous and oh so very Liverpool. It should have been obvious how much better our back 4 and midfield were from the start, I'd have Hibbert as backup over Glen Johnson.

I wouldn't even displace Hibbert.

That says everything.

We've already got Browning as a backup.

Naismith is better than their entire team. :coffee:

True but you've spelt it wrong...
