Seriously Del.... Not through blue tinted specs either....I can't believe how overhyped sterling is..... He is pants.... A one trick speed merchant, and so far this season he's been next to useless. Opposition defenders have figured him out and he has nothing else in his locker to offer. Can't wait til he's sold off to Derby or somebody.

this happens quite alot with young quick players does it not?

I hope he gets the two days compulsory rest stipulated in his new contract. They can't have the lad falling asleep like Brad Jones.

Yeah I'm aware of that but he's doing alright in the CL group and surely his accomplishments over the past few years entitle him to a bit of patience among their support? Fair enough if he gets relegated sack him but he's won 2 titles in the same league as Bayern Munich and made it to a CL final. Think it would be a bit knee-jerk to dump him now.

If he does get sacked the likes of Arsenal will be standing at his door with a blank cheque for him.

I think a young player bursts onto the scene and makes a few eye catching runs does a trick or two .... The media etc overrate them and pile huge pressure on them.... Swp, Lennon, Walcott, cadamarteri, Bentley, .....the list is endless and not one of them has proven to be world class or anywhere near that level.

  • Confidence is low and the team is conceding poor goals
  • They are not aggressive and not playing as a team.
Funny how when he accepts full responsibility, he manages to offload it all on his "underperforming" team. Of course when they win, it's down to some specific tactical change he made at a vital moment.
