ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Yeah, I think it's odds on now. As soon as Barcelona can persuade one of their players to work under Brendan Rodgers it'll be over.

Cue much wailing and gnashing of teeth from the cult.

On a tooth for tooth basis, the Cult may only have eyes for Mascherano to make a glorious return. Suits us....more red cards/bans in the offing.

£25m for Lallana?

lol, this week's just getting better.
I can't wait until i hear the statement from the club on Suarez transfer to Barcelona. The reasons behind it.

3 months ago Brent was foaming at the mouth over Suarez at that awards night, couldn't praise him enough. Made him a 'better man'. Not his siblings, parents or his kids - but Suarez !

Ha Ha Ha

Keep it coming B-Rod, keep it coming feller !

Gets a bit tiresome after a while though.

Like having a loaded neighbour who keeps buying BMW's, Porsches and lamborghinis just for show and writing them off at regular intervals while I continue to get from a to b in my ford KA.

Amusing to see him writing them off of course, but at the end of the day he keeps buying them cos he can.

Be nice if we could buy a Lukaku shaped super car just for once like.

Implying Lambert and Lallana are a Porsche and a Lambo...

The RS and their sycophantic hangers on, are clutching at straws with the Brenda made him a 'reformed' man. Saying that as soon as he went away from old mother hen he misbehaved and started biting again. He finished in May and by June he was biting again, all the fault of the Uruguayan FA, seeing that Brenda has done such a good job with him. I wonder why he didn't bite anyone when he was away from the comfort blanket for 2 weeks playing for Uruguay against Jordan in the world cup eliminator?

Suarez definitely made Rodgers 'look' a 'better man' by scoring goals. Without him Rodgers will be found out for the fraud he is. When Suarez signs for Barcelona, I hope they send the comfort blanket with him, otherwise the biting will come back.

An incredibly desperate signing IMO.
It is mate. I said earlier on and was in bulk at them panic buying in the month of June. Madness !

You just know its their way of attempting to deflect attention away from Suarez. Suarez is on his bike to Barca. Kopites at least have the security blanket of Lallana, its something i guess.

It somewhat cushions the blow of losing Suarez. Like those rubber tiles you see in playgrounds, you'll bruise quite badly but at least you won't kill yourself.

I dunno he's pretty good.

He's alright but it's big money on a player that isn't in the same class as the true heavyweights of European football would consider.

You only have to look at United going out and buying top tier talent in Herrera who could be one of the very best for roughly the same amount of money to see the difference - even without Champions League football.

Chelsea, City, United wouldn't have glanced at Lallana for £25m. It's the desperate, just off top tier signings that the likes of Liverpool and Spurs make as they don't have the clout to get the very best.

The best bit is as well that kopites arent allowed to complain about signings. If Suarez goes and Lambert is in they are programmed to justify it with 'Lamberts a proper red, he's got a better header to cross conversion than Luis blah blah'. They can't break the party line. In their eyes. Brenda is racking up the 'world class signings just like he did with: Allen, Borini, Yesil, Sahin, Assaidi, Aspas, Alberto, Illori, Moses, Cissokho, Sakho. Thats about 70 mill worth of rubbish right there.

Actually no mate, that's about 1 mil of rubbish. They just wasted the other 69 million.

He's nailed on to score in the derby now.

I haven't watched a huge amount of Lallana and haven't been blown away by what I have seen. Good player, no doubt, but £25m is a good £8-10m too much, for me.

Pleased with this if it happens.
