But he added: “I don’t want anyone thinking I am a young, naive, insecure person who goes home and cries in his bedroom.
“That didn’t happen. I’m 33 years of age with more than 100 caps and 600 appearances, so I’m big enough and brave enough to take it on the chin.
“I take responsibility for the slip and the damage it’s done to Liverpool, but it wasn’t the first mistake I have made.

Yes they do. Haven't you heard? They were top of the "goals scored" table for a bit. Apparently that's the only table that matters and any of this "goals conceded" business is just rubbish.

...it is good to see him acknowledge he lost the title for them though.

How can you have any confidence in your ability if you see a quack every day telling you great you are.
