They're in for a massive shock next season if they think we're going to crumble as this season was a one off. apparently steady progression up the league over a few seasons is a one off, but jumping from 7th to title challengers in one season isn't???

work that one out, i am looking forward to next season in more ways than one.

The best team over the course of the season will win the league and that may well be liverpool. If they had beaten chelsea last week then todays game would have been totally irrelevant.But for Liverpool supporters to be so frustrated because there was a lack of atmosphere etc in what is in essence a dead rubber for Everton is ironically bitter.At the end of the day Everton played better in the second half than Liverpool played in the second half last week against a tired Chelsea team.

Joe Hart made 2 fine saves to deny us.Our players were professional and if the match meant anything the Everton fans would have been well up for it. In the end with 5th place secured we had nothing to play for and thats why the ground was subdued.Like any rivalry you don't want your nearest neighbours to do well.Do you think Celtic would fans love see Rangers win a title or Man Utd fans love seeing City win a title?
