Sturridge is having a great year, fair play. Henderson is no longer a punch line. I'm going to hold my hand up and admit I don't get the Coutinho hype though. I just don't, other than he's Brazilian and he plays for LFC. Some of their lids were saying Coutinho is better than Barkley "and it's not close". I almost spit my drink out. What am I missing? Their defense is spectacularly average though.

1-11 we're much better. Suarez is a match winner though, and as much as I detest him as a human being, you can't deny him that.

he's actually not, you know. I'd put them in the same group of 10-20 world-class players that sit below Messi/CRonaldo.

Personally, I'd prefer Agüero to play for Everton, as:

1) he's a more effective team player, fits easily into the kind of system Martinez wants
2) he's not a prick

This makes Agüero for me the better player, overall.

Barkley, after a couple of years development, may well find himself in that group of 10-20 world class players right at the very top, who by that time may sit alongside Messi/CRonaldo should their unbelievable form drop off a little.
 

Suarez is measurably better than Aguero and is the best player in the Premier League. He is a cartoon clown playing for a joke of a club but he rates as one of the best players in the world.

Whoscored's rating are a serious attempt to establish an efficiency rating in football. Last season Suarez was second only to Bale at a rating of 7.89 per match compared to Aguero's 7.01. A huge gap. This year so far Suarez is averaging a Messi like 8.92 to Aguero's 7.76.

Suarez is an accident waiting to happen, a liability and he is also the best striker in the league. The fact he plays for hte RS doesn't change that.

Aguero is well better than Suarez. Personality and skill wise.
