£200k a week is a lot to pay a player not in champions league, any UTD, City or Chelsea players earning that?

We give far too much credence to premier league goals. So what if Suarez is banging them in against the dross of the premier league (including Spurs). How is that any different to what Falcao did last season or what Costa is doing, what Cavani was doing for Napoli? How is the premier league a higher level than these leagues? The bottom half of the premier league is absolutely atrocious and some of the performances and defending this season at Anfield has been absolutely diabolical regardless of how well Suarez has been taking advantage of them. Why does this make him one of the best in the world because he's had two half seasons of scoring quite a few? Van Persie did it last season but no one said he was the third best in the world, some of his goals were far superior to anything Suarez has pulled off (his volleys against Villa and us come to mind)
Messi and ROnaldo have been averaging a goal a game for seasons on end (the latter including a season in the premier league) most importantly including games at the highest level in the champions league against some of the top teams in Europe. Suarez has never done it at that level. Everyone knows he can punish the bottom feeders of the league probably better than anyone else in the prem at the moment with Van Persie injured.
Goals always distort questions on who the best player in the world is. A season or two back Iniesta was absolutely untouchable in midfield as Barca won 2 champions leagues in three seasons and Spain were winning the last three internaitonal tournaments yet he is never mentioned in these sort of debates. Kopites need to give it a rest, he might have the best form in the world FOR THIS MONTH, but he is nowhere near close to being the best player in the world.

So rather than admit Suarez is a good player, its down to the opposition because they are giving him to much space. Behave lad, there are a couple of reasons for this:
1) Defenders are scared to go near him because he'll drift through them and leave them for dead
or
2) He's created his own space

I think the more pertinent point is while a lot of players have been mentioned none play in england.
Liverpool have the most dangerous attacking player in this league, regardless of where he ranks vs players from other leagues, that alone makes them dangerous.

He's playing with the same inevitability that Messi and Cristiano do at the moment, you know he's going to score. I'm not saying he's better than them, Cristiano's got 9 more Champions League goals than Suarez. But, he's torn apart two teams in one week, much like Messi and Cristiano do.
