It must be noted that where our tribute consisted of the song "he ain't heavy", there's was just their typical "play our own YNWA" and sneak some red into our thankyou messages making sure they know it's us doing it.

There will always be one pride of merseyside lads, their actions and disgusting false accusations prove that.

Heh. That echo article is class. Pure wind up, it's not even close to being a journalists levels print article, never mind an online rag like the Echo.

As for giving him abuse on twitter, swerve it lads.

For those unaware - the adverts and traffic on that site will pay his wages for a while, if you really want to upset them, don't click or visit that website.

Best Post I've Ever Read On GOT. C&S here.

That post summed it up nicely. We have bellend fans like every team, but they have bellend fans like no other team.

I think the club needs to release a statement regarding Aldridge's statement.

Mud sticks, especially when it is thrown by a local media personality.

As for the Echo, that a report like that was printed tells you everything you need to know about that newspaper, you would expect that sort of bias in a fanzine, not a news outlet.

This.

Everton need to officially respond to that attack on the club's support and demand an apology and a retraction. And if John Thompson has a pair of bollocks on him Pearce should be booted down the road. The utter ****ing prick.

Say all we want about Ian Ross (and I often did) but he'd have been all over that **** Pearce and the Echo by now laying into them and getting this sorted.

Who at the club is doing anything on this? Paul Tyrrell? Isn't that supposed to be his job?

You can bet your bottom dollar if it'd have been the Kopites on the recdeiving end of that that ****ing scrote Pearce would have been clearing his desk by now.

You do expect a certain amount of protection from Everton for the fans when it comes to stuff like this.

I hope Everton have atleast contacted Liverpool privately over this matter, and the fact that they thought it was a good thing to play YNWA during the thanks
