ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

You know what really annoys me about that picture. They go to the European courts to claim that the Liverbird is their copyright as it is more recognisable to their brand than the city, then in their adverts to associate it with the city they are in, they use the Liverbuilding with the birds on top.

Suarez.. Side profile.. Airbrushed teeth !!

Identifying themselves with the city gets fairweathers who like the city though. We need to get on the ball with some of this stuff too

Just read that preview-
Was it directed at us? All of the "you say" "you think" blah blah blah...
I can't help but feel it was written for Evertonians to read, not Kopites?
What a load.
Chico yours will do.

...they're not bitter though

...not really

The Deluded one speaks

Gerrard suggests, however, that while Everton are close to achieving their aim this season Liverpool are a long way from theirs.

"Yes, Everton have been consistent, but they are still only sixth," said the midfielder.

"They have had a good season but maybe their targets were slightly different to others around them in the table.

"For real consistency, the example has to be Manchester United. Not Everton.

"Liverpool, though, is my main concern. Our target at the start of the season was the top four so it's clear our consistency hasn't been good enough.

"I'm not really a stats man, I prefer to look at the bigger picture, but if you look at our amount of goals and clean sheets, it's clear we are moving in the right direction.

"It's not all gloom and doom. We've played some fantastic stuff this season, and besides a handful of games we've always been in with a shout."

"I don't really like jumping ahead but for me there's a lot of optimism," he told the Liverpool Daily Post.

"When you make signings you need to contribute. If they are attacking players, you need them to score and set up goals and be better than we already have.

"Sturridge and Coutinho are both signings for the starting XI, and they can both be even better next season.

"I'm convinced they will be two big players for us.

"And if you add another striker to that and you have Luis coming back (from a 10-match ban), then that's the firepower we need to be challenging nearer to the top four.

"In fact, if we had got in Sturridge and Coutinho at the start of the season then I think we'd have been right up there among the top four

Well I guess we had realistic ambitions. We recognize our limitations. Sad but true.
They however do not recognize their limitations. There are reds out there who consider the season a failing because they won't be winning the champions league. This is despite not being in it. Cute.

LOL@ Gerrard, look at their squad, that doesn't look like a squad capable of finishing in the top 4. I think he should stick to beating up members of the public and taking care of other mens children and shut up.

RAWK is not happy with Bluejock:

'' To call someone a holocaust as a person is a disgrace. Jesus, there is a line for everything and it is drawn way before calling someone a holocaust. Honestly shocked that someone would draw a comparison like that.

Deluded bunch in parts, showcasing why calling them Bitter is the right thing to do.

That being said: great read, thanks a mill''
