Peter Reid on Sky game tonight was funny

You can tell he wants his feet under the table as a pundit. Shaking Jamie Redknapps hand at th end and reall trying to look enthusiastic at everything that was said.

But what he cant get is sat in a chair like an extra off The Royal family with bits of food in his mouth and waving your arms about like an enraged chimpanzee doesnt look great on TV

Then a great little top hat to it was when he got excited the end 'If they (us) can get Meireles fit, he excites me I know hes had a couple of problems' and pointed at his legs clearly rambling. The presenter stopped him then from making a further tit of himself

As of course Meireles has been banned for 11 games for spitting at a ref hes not injured. Oh yeah and he hasnt played for us for 18 months and has been at Chelsea in that time.

Tbf, he's immediately put right by a few posters but **** me, what an utter freak.

Rodgers brought up the "Messi" comparison again with their Rat Faced hero. Which increases the chances of leaving in the summer.

But a comment in the mail had me chuckling.

For months LFC fans have been saying we should buy Shane Long, well Shane Long isn't fit to clean Daniel Sturridge's boots. Sturridge is one, if not the most sought after young player in the WORLD, oh and what do the Mighty Red Guys go and do? Oh we just go and buy (in cash, yes we still have money Everton!) Daniel 'I like to score a lot' Sturridge. I think we should congratulate Mr Rodgers for lifting the expectations of the fans of our great club, BRAVO Mr Rodgers what a coup! Great minds Fosso.

It's spot on though, they all try to outdo each other with eloquent, emotive odes to their heros, the same ones whose shirts they'll burn at the slightest hint of leaving.

They'll get 3 points from 12 in the next 4 games and then we'll see their true colours.
