that's a shocking deal if true - sterling has shown just about as much promise as walcott did at the age, except walcott was even younger. Sterling has had one goal and one assist, there is no guarantee that he's not going to be another walcott. He's also their top scorer this season as well

Yes but Walcott is being a peenarse and won't sign a new contract.

Not saying there is nothing in it but I'm always dubious about player swap deals, how often do they actually happen ? I can think of Ireland going to villa as part of the Milner deal was it but generally I'm sceptical .

so is sterling. Anyway, that's even more reason to why it shouldn't be 8 mill + a proven player. They already have oxlade-chamberlain who is head and shoulders above sterling.

I'm not saying they never happen mate but for me swap deals tend to take up a fair few column inches but then mostly amount to sweet FA

I've entered the abyss

I'm refusing to play that video.

I mean, the fact the bedroom is horribly decorated is one thing. The fact that they are bunch of gormless looking tosspots is another. I can even overlook the how it's borderline child abuse.

All of that is fine, but spelling Uruguay wrong is just unforgivable.

suarez has stamped on a wigan player today - got away with it obviously. ben watson broken leg by sterling, accident apparently though

Yeah, saw that on the BBC; Wigan manager not impressed with it at all, (Ratface), but reckoned the leg break was an accident.

His time will come, one way or another.
