Their midfield what was out lastnight is rubbish, wouldn't swap any of them for ours. Gerrard is trying to do Barry Job but is rubbish, he offers no protection to the defence and fullbacks, Henderson is a mad man running round with no plan, Lucas (do I even have to write how rubbish he is). They need a proper defensive midfielder now that Suarez not playing for them, as he would pressure, pressure, pressure and give 100% which gave the defence and midfielder time. I'm not sure if Cana is the answer and now its seems that Allen is the best midfielder but he no defensive midfielder. All that money spent and no one top class defensive midfielder, where did all that money go? What they need is a James McCarthy or even Barry. The best laugh is Brendon will get the line up right against us and Gerrard will become superman.

How did steven look on MOTD mate. Did he look like he had a great game.?

I bet it shown the part where the slobbering kopites were worshipping him as he ran over to take a corner.
Completely anonymous mate, the only thing of note, he slipped on his arse in the first half to a cheer from the Hammers.

Didn't stop the BBC trying though, just before the last West Ham goal he took a short pass deep in his own half and lumped it up the field to nowhere. He was "trying to get things moving".

I know they'll raise their game next Sunday*, but their talisman is a millstone and their defence is woeful. We are well capable of turning them over at the pit.

*Edit. Saturday innit, dopey eejit.
