ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It's unraveling for them this season. Mark my words. there'll be no close title race. They've been the worst team in 3 of the games they played so far, beat atrocious Bournemouth and only managed to get past an understrength Newcastle at home with the aid of bent officials.

They'll get no more than 75 points and City will be in the 90s again.

The gulf between them is Grand Canyon proportions.

That is a 'kin disgrace. Are Liverpool FC going to come out and condemn this?

The hypocrisy that is YNWA

Not going to defend their fans, but the players obviously never meant it that way. Don't like us trying to point-score over a dead kid tbh.
But lad they were trying to point score the weekend and within 4 days they go from that to this. They are either hypocrites or damn right braindead or more than likely empty gestures which the p.r crowd have told them to do as always to make themselves look good.20220901_034740.webp

But I do agree with you after my last post in hindsight let her Rest In Peace its no place for fans to be getting on the high tower about. Putting things in perspective comes to mind

Every year they get the points at the start of the season where they’ve been second best. Then a unbelievable run… sickening

It’s going to be difficult for us to win any derby being honest. The game isn’t like it was in the 90s when we could put in an decent performance and take a win. It’s so influenced by referees now that a draw is about best you can hope for. Unless you can somehow get yourself 2-0 up with goals that are completely beyond VARs scope to disallow (e.g nowhere near being offside) then you’re just at the mercy of referees giving every decision tot he opposition until eventually the pressure tells. They’ll give penalties if needed as well, they’ll just ignore VAR calls, goalkicks will be corners, there’ll be red cards.

I’m normally quite confident of us giving United Chelsea or even City a game at Goodison but when that lot arrive it just seems as though winning is never an outcome the refs will allow.
100%. Last season the 4-1 at Goodison was a complete disgrace by the Ref and VAR
