I wouldn't read too much into pre-season at any rate

We've had a mixture of results in pre-season over the years and it usually means naff all once the season itself starts

I don't remember us strolling the league after beating that poor amateur side 22-0 or whatever the score was for instance

I'm suggesting that the results with start to bear fruit with him scoring his first goal around 1245 on 3rd September.
