I took it as 30/40k ATTEMPTS at getting in .

It was clearly an estimation and not the total, but I also took it as attempts on turn styles. Perhaps they could have used better, less inflammatory wording about the late fans and fake tickets, but it’s clear there are a number of issues with fakes and bunking in.

It’s also clear that the rs are part, and one of the key initiating factors of a very big problem - it’s also clear that there is zero accountability taken by the rs fans, club and media, which is despicable and needs to be addressed, or we will see this problem and worse happen again in future.

How many more innocent people have to be hurt, or worse still killed, before that shower accept their part in these all these troubles.

It would have been totally avoided if only proper tickets turned up. To me, that is front and centre the real issue here.

It's not 'support'? I don't like them. I think they're a weird cult. And I know that they have to shoulder some responsibility.

But I also don't like UEFA, the French authorities (or any authorities for that matter) lying, blatantly, and seemingly plucking random numbers out of thin air to just automatically blame fans for their own failings. I think that's wrong.

One of the biggest pieces I had when I was a freelancer was on how Everton had every right to detest Liverpool and enjoy their failure to win the Premier League in 2019. I don't like that club. I also don't like liars.

until that football club admit to having a very dodgy past and then owning it nothing will change . they enable this themselves.

And they are being backed in that argument by the UK media, MPs, so called celebraties and the rest.
That's the scandal of the business.
Never ever the culprit, always the victim.

They're doing that because they have to. THAT is the most interesting and important part of all this for me. They know they have an uphill struggle to persuade football fans in this country that that lot aren't to blame...they cant do that because we can all gather the facts independent of them, as the French and UEFA are providing an alternative source for our information.

They are going berserk because they cant control the narrative and they cant make every single non-Liverpool fan in this country accept arguments that run counter to their own experience of Liverpool fans.

I'm enjoying their frustration tbh.

We all KNOW what that lot are. We all know they caused overcrowding round the stadium. We all know they have a culture of doing that. We all know that their own manager encouraged them to do that. We all know that the stories were legion about fake tickets a week before the Paris final.

In short: we KNOW...and they cant stand that and cant handle it.

You can’t see that all we are saying in here is that Liverpool need to own up to their fans share of the problems caused. Thats not us saying uefa and the plod shouldn’t be held accountable as well. But you have argued their cause for 48 hours now

Ticketless kopites along with local youths overwhelmed zealous security measures that weren’t designed too accommodate the number of people that turned up.

LFC worsened the issue by insisting on paper tickets that could easily be forged

The whole incident seems cut and dry to me.

Klopp tells customers to all be in Paris.

Customers show videos proudly getting in with fakes or no ticket.

Customers provide evidence in comments/pics of huge amounts of fakes being on the market / purchased.

Video evidence of large numbers of misbehaving customers at the stadium and outside the stadium.


But people want to blame the French authorities for RS criminal behaviour.
