I think the best way forward for UEFA would be to *make it known* to their match day officials for CL games that it might not be in the best interests of the European game (or indeed the health of Liverpool supporters) for them to progress to any final again.

Or how about just banning them from European tounaments until their club properly address the problems with their entitled scummy Shanklyites.....all started with him. and do you really thing much of the planning type of work would have been done by this senior level of person in the day or two prior to the event?? They are the overseers, minions will have done the planning ages ago and we have zoom/teams meetings nowadays if you cant be in the same room as someone

What does this have to do with police and UEFA having 20,000 people walk through a 5-yard gap under a flyover?

It was probably apparent that people were at the turnstile with fake tickets and the numbers filling up the stadium were far out weighing the number of tickets in. They needed the thin the numbers getting to the turnstile. How do you police this?
They tried to thin the crowd out prior to the turnstile not a bad in theory but doesn look good

Good point that, if the fat dildos had been a bit slimmer they could have squeezed and even more dangerous amount of hooligans in. Forward planning, dysentery of the bowels for Turkey instead of the usual infection of their feeble minds.

That's not what I'm hearing...and even it were 3,000 fake tickets that would have caused major capacity pressure in that end.

3000 extra into an enclosure for 20000 is 15% over populated. Add in those who jumped/rushed barriers and that end may well have been 20-25% over populated. They never learn. The brutal police tactics may have prevented even more getting in. We need no reminding of what can happen in these circumstances.

Real Madrid fans were better organised, transported in coaches to the ground in good time and well behaved once inside as a result.
It's not the French who should be embarrassed but the LFC for not taking more care of their own supporters - the inevitable rabble of non ticket holders and fake ticket holders. What a shower.

I dont reckon paper ticket requests will work again for the foreseeable. So not a total loss.
