ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They are trying to bite the hand that feeds them, UEFA. It will not go down well with them challenging the governing body, one corrupt Mafia against another. There will only be one winner, the days of an easy ride to finals will be truly over.
I think the best way forward for UEFA would be to *make it known* to their match day officials for CL games that it might not be in the best interests of the European game (or indeed the health of Liverpool supporters) for them to progress to any final again.

Honestly I can't really agree with other Blues saying they feel sympathy for the RS getting teargassed. When an old woman was attacked by police in Rome supporting United it was clearly unprovoked. Klopp encouraged thousands of tickets fans to travel, what were these fans gonna do look for touts or just get drunk or coked up. It was a recipe for disaster, the same "innocent supporters" aren't having a go at a section of their support who continually try to bunk in, rob fellow fans or tout tickets to them. The most bizarre theory spouted a RS I heard was that PSG fans were pretending to be RS in order to attack the RS. You have morons in every support, the difference is their idiots are defended by the club and fellow fans. Other clubs have openly had a go at their moronic supporters the RS don't. Their hate campaign against Pickford could of put his and his families life in danger. Goalkeepers bump into players all the time, Drogba was knocked out by Ruddy, it happens in a contact sport. Pretending that Pickford who clearly didn't attend to injure VVD, was some kind if thug is ridiculous. Sir Kenny encouraged their fans to abuse Evra and had to be told off by the Henry's.

Can't wait for the group stages next season and for them to get 70 penalties against them by VAR for the smallest shirt pulls.

This fella is a bully and he understands how intimidation works hence his call to arms to the gobshite masses.

Only just caught up with all this myself. So I feel @Yarrgh 's pain.

Sadly, you could see the moment posters, who'd spent all night last night watching sky sports news, arrived in this thread.

The media white/brain wash has been very successful it would seem.

Well done all those that have tried to show them the truth. Unfortunately all it's highlighted to me is how quickly people can become indoctrinated. To the point where they're in here defending the media narrative despite all the evidence to the contrary.

I've learned a lot over the last 24 hours watching this unfold. None of it has been very settling. Though I now have more understanding at least

Shameless article that. Completely misleading headline and makes a travesty of a genuine disaster at Hillsbrough. Most of the fans at Paris won’t have even been at Hillsborough, a large number won’t have even been born or will have been too young to remember it. Sickening how they invoke this any time their behaviour abroad is questioned.
They remember Hillsborough but don't remember Heysel from a few years earlier.

*edit my mistake, there weren't any rs at Heysel only Chelsea fans.
