I did work experience at Lincoln City FC when he was manager in their media department and I interviewed him at their training ground a few times - an utterly dour bloke.

Trying to keep an open mind on this as let's be honest the French police aren't ones to be trusted. But I find it hard to believe that they'd just shut gates at the Liverpool end for no reason whatsoever, when the Madrid fans are in no problem. UEFA are pretty useless but they're not just going to go out their way to stop fans getting into the ground are they?

I cannot begin to explain how much I despise that club and their supporters. They openly pride themselves on gaining entry without tickets (except Hillsborough of course, they all had tickets there)

If there is a god in heaven or any justice in the world please ensure that they lose this game.

Quite clearly an absolutely huge number of them trying to get in with fake tickets, knowingly or not. I feel for those genuinely stuck outside but yet again it’s that club at the heart of something like this. Could see it coming from a mile off.
