ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

If I was in a pub on Holliday talking to two blues about the game, a match going local or otherwise. I know who I would listen to more.

The club is more than just the football team, there’s more too it than just watching the match, I think local people from their respective clubs get it more.

If your a young lad in school in north Liverpool and you have grown up arguing with RS day in day out, going the game with your mates, it’s obviously going to mean more than to a young lad in school in another city because it won’t be half the topic of conversation there if at all. Here the kids grow up and football and the two clubs have a MAJOR part on their life good or bad, there is no escaping it. You get in a taxi the first question you get asked is red or blue?

Someone from outside the city don’t grow up with this. That’s why.

OK, well I think this is a reductive and parochial perspective, but what I don't get is the disdain, you seem to have real thing about them.

Off Topic
So , supporters who support Everton ,and spend money towards the club means nothing? What about the players and staff ? 90% aren't from the city
I’m not bothered about people filling the chairman’s pockets by spending money in the club shops couldn’t care less, care more about the young kids in school getting a dogs life from their RS mates.
