Interesting the timing of the games. The quarter finals fall around the City/RS league game. A sandwich of Atletico with the RS in the middle is a pretty brutal run of fixtures for City. Pep really will need to be on his A game and get his team selection right for all three.

Atletico are horrible to play against too. A challenge unlike almost any other so absolutely needs full attention and preparation.

Spot on - Not like the rs to get the rub with draws and fixtures is it?

He definitely messes one of them up for sure, I just hope it’s not the league game in the middle. If they can get the first leg right it’ll be massive. Simeone will make it an attritional game but they’re not quite as formidable as they were a few years ago when the sh*housery was at its peak.
