ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Right along side the fact that he was pelted with bananas by the greatest supporters in der werld on his debut v Arsenal.

I never condone racism, ever. I don't like hypocrisy either.
Suarez calling Evra "Little Negro".

But if King Kenny says calling him that is alright, then it's alright, RIGHT?

RS would eat their own young to justify the collective disgusting conduct of that club down the decades

Shame Chelsea didn’t win really. A 6 point gap would have the Mordor faithful getting restless.
Last 6 games for Liverpool in the league:

DDWWDL

9 points dropped in the last 18.

As said: flakey....and that's before the fixtures pile up and impact their small first team squad.

They're not winning the PL this season.

Never hear Barnes mention this actual FACT or the graffiti around the pit when he signed, obviously didn't happen eh? ;)
TBF, in his biography he called out Dalglish for racism.

Barnes revealed that Dalglish thought he was clever by doing team tactic talks using 10 red counters on the magnetic board and a black one "for Barnesy".

Hilarious.

'kin savage.

let’s hope you’re right, would definitely be over if City or Chelsea were on a plus 90 points pace. As it is they’re both in touching distance. Given the fixtures though and having two head to heads at Anfield you’d expect Liverpool to have a lead by now if they were to survive the impact of the AFCON.

Just need City to put one of those runs together like they did this time last season.

I haven't been quite as bullish as davek about the RS' demise but I did say a few weeks ago that I felt they were much more vulnerable than 2-3 years ago. To use horrid football jargon, they can now be "got at".

The aura built up around Alisson has been exposed as a myth. His reputation was overblown by the fact he cost a lot of money and isn't Karius.

VVD is not playing anything like the pre-injury VVD.

Robertson has dropped off a fraction.

TAA is now being ruthlessly exposed for his complete inability to defend.

That midfield three can't seem to protect the defence like it once did.

They miss Wijnaldum.

Firmino is not at his 2018-19 level.

They finally got their comeuppance today but I really felt it was long overdue. The cracks have been there for a while but Salah's great form and their sheer good luck in many games had got them through. I won't write them off for winning anything because I don't think City or Chelsea are themselves infallible. Nevertheless, they're both noticeably better than the RS.

Their greatest defence in the world has now conceded:

2 against Atletico, 2 against Milan, 2 against City, 2 against Brighton, 3 against Brentford and 3 against West Ham.

It would just be nice to see more teams play like Brighton Brentford and West Ham have, not lose the game in the tunnel before they get on the pitch and start doing stupid stuff.

Porto are a prime example, they’ve put on good displays against top teams in Europe all the time yet they just completely implode whenever they face Liverpool. AC Milan did the same in the first half in the CL game this season until they realised that if they just stopped panicking and put two passes together they could walk in two goals easily. Far too many teams are in fear of the ghost of Liverpool two seasons ago and don’t play their normal games.

I’m hoping we actually put on a decent performance against them as we seemed to have thrown off the choking mentality we had against them recently with some decent draws and the win at Anfield.

Alexander-Arnold was at fault for the 2nd and 3rd West Ham goals. Clueless positioning.
