ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Atletico just need to take the top spot, the other teams in the RS's group doing anything is a bonus. Then the big teams can do the rest in the last 16 (hopefully...)

AC MIlan will be gutted with that draw, 10 years out of the competition and they get the group of dead.

Looking at their squad, would any of the players get in Klopp or Simeone's side, shows you how bad Serie A is, it's on the cusp of being a Farmer's league, no wonder the Italians looked fresh as a daisy in the Euro's, the football is slow and less physical, proof is Zlatan at 39 still top of the scoring charts there.

The best player in Milan is Kessie, free agent next summer as well and won't sign a new contract, one to watch during those games.

Didnt Zlatan at 37 dominate here?

I'm sure Milan will be looking forward to some big games.

And to answer your question, Zlatan, Ramagnoli & Kessie all would.

Dunno why you do it to yerself mate, I really don't.

Every year it's practically a buy for them into the knock out rounds - Porto and Milan wont change that.

The Peds will be flowing again soon as well, don't doubt it.
Ped's rambling...albeit in a 'classic'scouse accent, tends to grate. But Baz is the real deal...he is very well connected with the upper echelons of EFC. I have seen pics of him lunching with Denise's PA.

TV companies would hate that, and money would go down as a consequence.

More games = equals more tv revenue for UEFA and the clubs, you get to the QF you are guaranteed £100 million.

The winners of the FA cup get £4 million in a prize money, no wonder most clubs in the PL don't care about it and would rather take the the 14 day rest before during and after the 4th round.
surely football should be about football, not what some TV exec wants

The CL is boring, it needs a proper shake up, not a shake up that makes it more boring. Send it back to a true knockout comp with no seeding.
TBH I'm not really interested in footie for a variety of different reasons like, but one thing I've noticed is, if you look in the past Eastern European sides actually did quite well against Western European clubs, Red Star outplayed the RS home and away. In the past teams who won the Champions League deserved to win it, nowadays that simply isn't the case.

The RS only got through the group stage in 2019 because Napoli missed about 10 sitters in Belgrade, they had about 34 shots on target Napoli that night. They then played an useless Bayern, Porto and Barca who should of scored at least 3 in the first half at Anfield. I'm still suspicious of that left back who decided under no pressure to head the ball backwards, which led to the RS first goal.

They must be looking at the transfer activity of the teams in England and Europe they measure themselves by and feel like they're getting left miles behind again.

A bad run of form for Liverpool this season and the Kopites will be screaming for the heads of FSG and issuing death threats to dem yanks.

TBF That is a lot to notice for someone who's "not really interested in footie"
