ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Was about to give Herr Klopp some credit for calling out the homophobic chanting and meeting with the LGBT fan group organiser. But what's this? Meeting in the presence of the Sky Sports cameras. Can't do anything without publicity can they?

Also, turned on Sky Sports News at Lunch time for a catch up. Transfer centre on. It went like this "Some fans have said LFC need more players" and then they showed about 10 minutes worth of live footage of the cult training. Any excuse to shoehorn them in to anything Sky broadcast. I didn't watch - but every time I turned back over it was still on!

Reading some of the silliness on RAWK you’d think it was actually our fault (club and fans) that they’re getting grief for the rent boy chants. Frankly I’ve never met a CFC fan who gives a toss about it. Sticks and stones and all that, but they really are a most weirdly precious bunch of oddballs who take pomposity/self-preservation to the extreme.

With that lot, everything is Chelsea’s fault.

Still not having us having a pop at them for singing the rent boy chant. It's been sung for years by loads of clubs including us. All of a sudden it's a big deal? I remember en-masse the whole ground singing it at the phil collins blert. No need for shipman to publically show his love for the weeners though. We knew already. (No harm in being gay I love the LGBTQ community)
