ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I've gave up hope now. Even when things go wrong with them it's always to set up the miracle.

Why watch football to get kicked in the gut like that every year? Genuine question, what's the point of being an Evertonian? You used to feel like you belonged tol the club but now you just get a bunch of bellends like Sigurdsson and Iwobi waltzing around getting made millionaires for doing nothing, so there's not even that.

They’ve had about three bad seasons in my entire lifetime of watching them, and even then those seasons are probably better than our best premier league seasons. Doesn’t matter who is their manager, who they have playing for them, they just can’t have a bad season, it inevitably goes their way. Then the media comes out with luck evens itself out over time but it doesn’t.

I have to say that Alisson interview was pretty good.

Must have be terrible to have a Parent who passes away and you cannot go to the Funeral because of a Pandemic.

Not sure on the complaints on that disallowed goal, he was 2 yards offside, am i missing something?

I see they're all gushing now about 'Alli', their 'beloved team mate', who himself is thanking 'God' for being with him today. Vomit inducing.

I've got news for you 'Alli'. Unless God is working on the VAR panel he has nothing to do with it.

Still, for a free transfer goalkeeper who played barefoot it's a great story. At least they don't sign keepers for a world record fee.

TBH I feel the same way, in some ways my hatred for the RS is greater than my love for Everton now. In the past we were rubbish, but we had players who actually cared like Jags, Howard, Baines, Cahill, Naismith,Pienaar and even players like Jelavic, Anichebe Heitenga, Lukaku and Felaini put in effort when we needed them.

Now we have players like Benard, Gomes, Sigs, and Pickford who get huge amounts of money each week to do very little. The problem with out players and lot of of other people at the club, they're quite happy to maintain the plucky little Everton tag. Every time it looks like we're getting close to doing well we eff it up. At one stage I thought we were just unlucky, now I think it's borderline intentional, because the dross now they'll be sold if we get into the Top 4. In the past average players didn't get paid as much, so players had an incentive to perform, now they have a cushy lifestyle and want to maintain it.

So what. Its happened to about 3.3 million people worldwide. What make his story worse than millions of others?

It dosent, but you have got to be completely heartless and far too tribal for your own good to not think thats a good story or be pleased for the guy, on a human perspective.
Any other club & any other goalkeeper everyone would be calling it brilliant

Terrible take!

Their lovers tiff with Satan is over, he's back in the bad after sleeping on the couch for a few weeks. The pl have to have them in the top 4 - it's the only explanation for the nonsense going on yesterday.

The uncontested drop ball (Mike Dean the red sorting that out), the disallowed wba second when the keeper has full line of sight to the ball were the blatant examples of the rules being bent for them to prosper.

Forget about the goalies header to win the game in the 95th min - too many variables on that one to be absolutley certain something was fishy, and he took it very, very well, but the entire wba defence looked suspect.

Still no punishment for all the scabs from the pl is also very concerning.

Enjoy you're ill gotten gains lurkers, they are as tainted as the club you follow.
