I’m not denying United spend big though and them spending big doesnt change the fact that they amassed their spending power in a far more impressive and natural way than City. Do I think city fans give a toss about this ? Of course not just as I wouldn’t give a toss if Everton had lucked out like city... but if we’re going to compare them then these things need pointing out.

Cities net spend over the past five years is £130m more than Uniteds btw...
